Our Style & Approach to Photography

The Style

Our work is warm, cinematic, and filmy. Our photos are edited to be romantic and mimic colors you would find in movies and film photography.

The Approach

The way we shoot is centered around storytelling. We prioritize capturing feeling and emotion by photographing the day exactly how it unfolds. There are pockets of time during the day where we take control for more posed portraits, but those posed portraits will be non-intrusive to the wedding day. When we are not doing the posed photos, our entire focus is the events happening in front of us.

Film Photography

Included with all of our wedding packages is 35mm film photography. We develop and scan all of our film at home to help with speed and quality. We use film to capture things in a way that digital photography cannot do. The physical feeling of film is truly special and is another tool we use to tell the story of a wedding day.
